My brother says I could if I wanted to bad enough, but I beg to differ. I don't think sheer willpower can do that. I don't think I've even broken 7:00 yet.

  1. no, the further total mileage you can run will allow you to run a shorter distance faster because you can use all your built up stamina to make you less tired as you run fast for that mile

  2. You would have to work up to it by training and practicing. No, its not impossible, but, right not, its not probable. Like you said,  you can't do it just on will power.

  3. I don't think its the wisest goal right now. I think you should set yourself smaller goals and a timeline. As you train, it will be easier to evaluate your capability, and you'll be able to answer this for yourself!!

  4. Why are you giving thumbs down to the people who say No.... If you can barely run 1.6 Mi. at whatever pace your doing it.  You say you've never even broken 7 Min. yet, not saying you can't in the future with some training....but if your not working at it at all and just think you can go out and do it.......your not going to be able to I bet.  Try it and please post your results.....

  5. the harder you work the better you do.

work hard at it and you can do it.

just do alot of training like runing three times a day and for long distances and i believe you can do it too.

  6. Short answer: Yes.

A little longer answer: If you set it as a goal, do all the right things in training and work hard, of course it is possible!

  7. yes cuz there were lots of 7th and 8th girls in my track team that went under 6 minutes so i guess u can too if u work hard enough and if u join track or something ull be able to i guess

  8. If you train hard you can, but it takes time. At this moment I'd say no, because your body needs to be conditioned to run that sort of time, it is not just something that you can do with mental power. But, if you train hard, in time I'm sure you will be able to. If your body hasn't been training for that distance, its not going to be able to just push really hard and get that time without training for it.

  9. Yes, if you work hard.
