  1. You never mentioned your schedule so how can it be answered? It would also depend on the level you want to surf, for fun and relaxation or competativly.

If you really want to do something you can find the time.

  2. I know people that have very important jobs also, but find the time to surf.. almost every day.

When you say start, I assume you have never surfed before, so lessons are essential.

    Thats one weekend.

after that, you should try and get out as often as you can. whether it be extremely early morning before work, when you get off or during the weekend

  3. Are you Johnny Utah?????

  4. Surf every weekend when you aren't traveling...

  5. Well if you have a really important job and are consistantly working, then you really a hobby besides work. And what is a better hobby than surfing. Surfing really clears my mind and and really relaxes me. I dont know if your job stresses you out but surfing will cure that stress. So yeah make time and just surf.

  6. Well there are people called "LifeGuards" who have an "important" job as well and am sure that one of them will save you if you get hurt. Get off of your high horse and on to a surfboard, you will enjoy it.

  7. Dude, I'm 39, I have a wife, 2 kids, and a dog and I work for NASA.  If I can manage to surf so can you.  Besides you live in SD, you have tons of  breaks to pick from.   I'm stuck in the mid-Atlantic; home of cold water and crappy surf.
