I would REEEEEEEEALLY really really love to do some volunteer work on wkends for local honeybee farms.

wondering where to place an ad?

Yes it realistic because he has to see that some thing should not go against  the bees otherwise they are doing their work regularily and honestly.

Don't place an ad. Find a local beekeeper and call him/her. You can find them by contacting your local county farm agent or asking at the local farm co op shop.
