Ok, the stats:

-20 y.o Hispanic Female

- 5'9

-Been on a diet for about a month and lost 15 pounds.

-My diet is 1,100 calories a day.

- No junk food (maybe the occasional 100 cal pack)

-I drink 3-6 bottles of water a day.

-Cardio 4-6 times a week, for an hour to 90 mins. (including weight training, but not much)

-I take one multivitamin/multimineral, an omega 3, 1 green tea extract, and I drink 1-2 servings of psyllium husk a day.

My question:

Is it a realistic goal for me to lose 60 more pounds by January/February of 09? I think I can. Some of my friends say "I lost 50 pounds, and that took me 6 months" but she isn't doing the same things as me. I feel like I can but I was just wondering if:

A) this is a "realistic" goal?

B) Am I doing well, with what I am doing? Calorie/food/excersize wise?

Thanks guys!

  1. WOW!!!!!! you must be a really healthy person.

i think you are doing great on your diet and willl be able to reach your goal.

    --good luck

    and dont give up

  2. you're doing basically everything right, and of course it's possible to lose all that weight. good luck!

  3. wow ur super healty... u willl most definitely be able to lose the weight and you are doing very well... good luck!

  4. It seems like you are losing weight too fast. Usually 1 to 2 pounds a week is ideal, but you are losing almost 4 per week. The faster you lose weight, the more likely it is that you will gain it back. Your diet is pretty strict, also. You could probably lose all the weight by February, but you may gain it back if you go back to regular eating and decrease your workouts.
