Is it really a bad influence to try and get your nephew to play certain video games?

My sister has three kids and they play kiddy video games. Now I dislike children, but my nephews are okay. Back in the day, when my nephews came over to watch me play GTA, they found those games amusing.

Is it a bad influence for a man to show his nephew some violent video games?

me and my son play games together most of the time the only game i dont want to play by himself is resident evil i love the games and have most them on the wii but i think he might get to scared of them plus i played gta and still play it and i am fine and work as a cop

Reality: Most kids don't really give a flying c**p about the violence.

To tell you the truth my nephew loves violent video games and he is 5 years old but what we do is let him know that it is wrong to do some of things in the game and also point what is wrong out. I don't think it's a bad influence but I would still let it be known what is wrong and right.

Depends on how old the kid is. I think that by age 13 he should be old enough to be able to play GTA. I'm 17 now and I grew up playing some violent videogames and I got A's and B's in school. I don't think it screwed me up my teachers know I've always been a hardworking student.

It's because I always knew a videogame is a videogame. It's not reality but rather an escape from reality basically its like someones imagination brought to life.
