Is it really bad for a 14/15 y.o. To dink energy drink once a week?

Hello, i'm 14 going on 15. I wanna know if it's very very bad for me to drink like a monster once a week or so. I dont want answers like DONT DRINK ENERGY DRINKS AT ALL. I just wanna know if it can be really bad to drink it once a week. Please answer

  1. i wouldn't recommend anyone drinking these drinks regardless of age.  they can really mess up the cells in your body and release way to  much potassium. basically your body has trouble breaking the drink down and you can have problems as a result.


  2. I do the same thing but i drink the low carb kind mmmmm..and it gives a great boost keep the habit of 1 a week dont do more though hope this helps and the low carb has 8 grams of sugar in a 16 ounce can and 16 grams i think in a 24 ounce  

  3. maybe not once   a week maybe 1 every couple of weeks..and i thnik energy drinks are 4 people 18 and older but i dont really know

  4. Once a week probably isn't too bad for you.  It would be like slam dunking three mountain dews in a row.

  5. You are perfectly fine having only 1 a week. Makers recommend having a max of only 1 - 2 a day. They also suggest not giving them to kids but leave that at about 12 and under.

    They have about 26 - 34 grams of sugar and 80 - 84 mg of caffeine per serving. It is more caffeine than sodas which have 25 - 50mg. Coffee starts at 85mg. Iced tea has 50mg. So if you drink any of these then it is not as bad as people make it out to be.
