Is it really cheaper to book attractions/events b4 u go?

we're leaving 4 cancun friday 4 2 wks. I want to see xcaret, tulum, xel ha, etc. Of course every site I go to says BOOK NOW AND SAVE!!! Really? Ideas on the best attraction/event packages? Not websites...believe me I've been to all of them.

You must be so excited! I am also going to Cancun. I'm leaving a week from today. I have booked just about all my tours already. I figure, that it will be easier to not have to worry, or sit through any hotel presentations upon my arrival.

Also, Be sure to book you airport transfer ahead of time. Apprently you get many an offer to buy a timeshare while at the airport.

Of course, I have not been there yet myself, and could just be getting sucked in like some no nothing tourist. Even if I do end up spending a couple extra bucks, going down there with my major activites paid for means a lot to me.

I have been to all of those attractions.  We went through apple vacations for our travel package.  However, when we booked our excursions, we went through the hotel and they were quite a bit cheaper that way.  We did that when we got down there. I think it would be more of a headache to book ahead of time especially with the worry of are they going to know you booked it.
