Is it really make a difference in quallity of a game if you have a LCD monitor?

i gotta GeForce 8600GT(1 GB) and an old CRT monitor, i wanna know if i change the monitor to an LCD one, the quallity of games getting better?

and if you have any opinion on "Samsung GW1932+" monitor i would like to know that.

  1. When I upgraded from CRT to LCD I noticed that colors were brighter and the screen looked much sharper but skin tones don't look as realistic.

    Samsung is a great LCD manufacturer but their customer service for all products leaves something to be desired.
