  1. Honestly, my niece still has this problem & she is 13 yrs old. My daughters boyfriend did have this problem till he was 16 yrs old.

My neice is seeing a doctor & having pills prescribed to her that does help a little but it's not perfect. She is also a heavy sleeper, & she does go to sleep overs. Her mother doesn't allow her to drink after 7:00pm but it still doesn't help. What her mother did was to get those disposable adult diapers (I don't know how big your son really is) & teach him how to use them & how to hide them from all the other children. The worst thing to do is to call them adult diapers too. LOL! Just tell him it's what adults use when they have certain problems & he does have a medical problem that not only children, but some adults have as well. Let him know that the other children don't need to know he has a medical problem. Using these "disposable underwear" also helps not having to replace your sons matresses all the time too. :o)

My daughters boyfriend ended his bed wetting because his loving grandfather took him for the summer. His grandfather would set his alarm clock for the middle of the night just so he could get his grandson awake & make him use the rest room. Once his grandfather saw it was working, he started setting his grandsons alarm clock & his as well, just to make sure his grandson got up to use the bath room in the middle of the night. Now a grown man, he natually wakes up the same time in the night (with out an alarm clock) & uses the bathroom. They tried the same with my niece but so far it only works half the time.... but like I said...she DOES have a medical problem with her bladder.

  2. Use Goodnites just in case.  He can even put it on in his sleeping bag.  Take it off in the morning, and roll his sleeping bag up with it inside.  That was my "trick" as a child bedwetter

  3. the easiest thing to do is to go to the docter and get some medicine.it a hard thing to go through but its ok the best thing to do while spinding the night out or while at home is not to think about it. another good thing to do is 2 hrs. befor his bed time try not to let him drink anything but if he is still thirsty let him have a little bit of water (nothing with sugar)  and befor he goes to bed make him use the bathroom.

  4. just tell the parents of the hosting kid about your son's problem...have him bring a couple diapers...right before he goes to bed...he can go to the bathroom and change...if he wake sup an dis wet..he can grab the other diaper and have a plastic bag to put the used one in and put the new one on ....just make sure he has a back pack or something to keep his stuff in

  5. Urine stinks...you can't hide that.
