My 10 year old son has the smallest bladder in the world, and wears goodnites every night.

  1. We used to have that problem 40 years ago, and managed to hide it reasonably successful - the parents were unaware.  Hopefully progress has been made in the intervening years.

  2. My son had bed wetting problems until he was over 11 years old. He also wore goodnites and would take his back pack into the bathroom to change into pajamas. He usually wore sweat pants or sweat shorts over his protective underwear so it wasn't noticeable. If anyone did notice or ask, he told them he had a bladder problem and there was nothing he could do about it. He always packed a plastic bag to put the wet undies in and just brought them home with him.

He is 14 now and the problem disappeared on it's own. My uncle, brother (and now my nephew) all went through the same thing.

  3. Explain the situation to the parent that will be supervising and they should be able to work out some kind of situation with your son, so that when its time for the party to wind down the parent can say something like " Timmy can you help me put the ice cream away " and he can throw on his goodnites, in case he does wet himself I would have the parent wake your son up a few minutes earlier than the other children.
