  1. What causes your suspicion? Is there anything weird going on or abnormal? Alot of people get really gun shy when it comes to the scare tactics used to sell antivirus products and get paranoid about everything. Best bet is to never just click and "install" anything without taking a minute or so to see if its legitimate. I would try a different antispyware program as the one you use is not very good. Just Google "spyware terminator problems". In fact, just google around about any software you want to install before doing so to see if there is a large number of negative press about it. Try adding the word "review" after it as well to see if any reviews were done. That's my two cents.

  2. of course it's possible but if your worried take an online virus scan - Kaspersky does a good one - that will put your mind at ease

be patient - it takes at least 10-15 mins  just to down load the virus definition updates, then takes a while to do a thorough scan (choose 'computer' to scan)

once you have your mind put at ease protect yourself with the best programs out there....

  3. Yes it probably is true. If you want to know if the sites you go on are also safe then i would reccomend getting McAfee site advisor.
