That US Government is making a law that kids over 4th grade who doesn't learn to read can serve jail time?

thats ridiculous. if the us   government was that concerned they would start a program, 4 th graders cant even serve jailtime... theres no way in h**l

False. But in some states, if parents don't have their children in school they can be taken to jail for not having them in school. Then the parents have to pay a fine for not keeping their kids in school, and if the parents have no control the kids might actually go to juvenile hall for truancy.
