A friend of mine told me the news that Nick has diabetes, and he's going to die... I don't quite believe that he will die, so impossible... But, is it really true?

  1. Yes, he has diabetes. No, he's not going to die. There's been people living with it for their whole lives, theres no way he will die.

My friend overheard Joe at a concert the other day, he said "Theres a fifth Jonas." Pretty sure there is.

  2. unfortunately he does have diabetes, he wrote a song about it. Have you heard 'A Little Bit Longer'?

  3. Yes nick jonas had diabetes, but he's not going to die...if his blood sugar gets dangerously high or dangerously low, theres a chance that he could. He has type 1 diabetes, and when hes onstage he has this mic hooked up so he can talk to his brothers and a couple people backstage and if he feels that he may need some insulin, he tells his brothers to go to plan B and then joe starts talking to everybody and reading their signs that they have up, and even though it may only take nick just one minute, joe will still talk for about 5 to make it seem natural.

Nick Jonas has had diabetes since 2005 and released the news in 2007. and he will not die unless it gets very bad.

  4. type 1 diabetes

  5. it's true he has diabetes but he wont die, unless he doesn't take his medicine

  6. Haha! He's not going to die!!! Your friend is overreacting!! He has Type 1 diabetes, which is harmless unless you don't take your medicine or make sure your blood sugar is okay. Nick is apart of The Jonas Brothers, (DUH!!!) celebs have the best medicare in the world!! Well better than ours! The world would go crazy if he died! But thats not the point! He's not going to die!! He's had it since 2005 if he hasn't died yet, that's possibly a hint that he's not dying any time soon! So don't worry he'll be fine!! :)

  7. Yes, he does have diabetes.  No, he will not die.  He's been controlling it very well.

  8. yeah he has it, and i dont get why your friend says he will die?

diabetes isnt a death sentence unless you have very bad control and dont take your insulin.

    but yea its true

    :)

  9. yes, nick does have type one diabetes. he will not die from it though because it is being taken care of. there is no cure for diabetes, but i think he has an omnipod or something else that checks his blood sugar level regularly. he was diagnosed while on tour at age like 13 or something, and his family has been very supportive. he announced his diabetes publicly at a diabetic fair thing in 2006 and has since made appearances at other diabetic conferences, held fundrasiers (changeforthechildren.com) and participates in the walk for diabetes. he also makes a point of meeting with fans who also have diabetes, and makes them feel special by just talking to them and giving them a guitar pick
