  1. Yes it is.

I think that cars should be ran on hydrogen cells instead of fuel anyways.

    But yeah it is possible

  2. maybe. (scratches head) well, its possible, but probably sophistacated. But you don't know! It could possibly help mankind!!!

  3. Yes, but it is a very expensive thing to do.

  4. i dont think so but maybe

  5. Yes, but many of the people who have created these designs have died mysteriously.  I first person did so in the late 40's.

  6. Yes it's true and click on the link for more information on it!

  7. yeah, the government just doesn't what you to know about it. it's got a fiberglass air-cooled engine and IT RUNS ON WATER MAN!

  8. No, it is not possible.

  9. Not really. Takes more energy to seperate hydrogen and oxygen than it can make from being burnt. However it can be split using the excess energy from the alternator to inefficiently increase the car's fuel economy.

  10. Eventually, they will.  There are things called hydrogen fuel cells which use atomic bonds to produce energy between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in a water molecule.  The problem is they aren't developed to their full potential yet and they cost a lot.  I've seen full houses run solely on a hydrogen fuel cell.  We were going to make remote controlled cars with them in my engineering class but we didn't have enough time.

  11. No, with current technology it's not possible.

But getting future-istic on you, I could say that Water is comprised of H20.  i.e. hydrogen and ogygen... currently it's too expensive and not realistic to breakdown water into it's 2 component parts.

But say sometime in the future if we somehow discover a real easy and portable way to turn water into hydrogen and oxygen, then you could make a car that uses water as a fuel.  The car would take the water, take out the hydrogen in small pieces and use it to run the engine, and then it would emit the oxygen as a safe by-product.

Sounds great doesn't it?  Problem is we don't currently have an easy & efficient way to turn water into hydrogen & oxygen, but one day in the future it could in theory be possible.

  12. Yes, you can.

You know how much water is, but do how much it would be to make a water-fuelled car?

  13. Car running on water....

I get a chuckle 10 times a day, when somebody asks this question (no offense)

SCAM !!!!  I read extensively about it and the science is ALL WRONG.  I studied chemistry in school so I know.

Even if you don't understand the science behind it to know, ask yourself this one simple question: if these devices worked, why don't the car companies install them at the factory and sell more cars?

    Because they don't work...

    Good Luck...

P.S. If you go to these HHO sites, they will tell you that the HHO become a catalyst for the reaction inside the engine. NONSENSE !  In chemistry Catalyst is does NOT react at all and just help other reaction.  Hydrogen and Oxygen in piston would be immediately consumed (and so by definition cannot be a catalyst).

  14. Well you could split the hydrogen and oxygen and that would probably create some sort of reaction. You might be able to use electrolysis to power a car but if not, then you can take the hydrogen that was taken from the water using electrolysis and do something with that. I'm sure something is possible.

  15. Water can be used as a supplement to fuel to run you car!

The kind of technology that will use water only to run your car is not available yet (as far as I know!).

But, some small groups of people have innovated on the "water for gas" or "water4gas" techniques researched by Stanley Meyer. The most important thing in my opinion is they have come up with special designs that will require less energy to split hydrogen from water.

Pure hydrogen is unstable and dangerous, but they came up with the HHO gas which is safer to use. This gas helps in burning gasoline more completely, hence improving fuel economy and gas mileage in your car.

Some people say they are scams, but if you on Youtube and do a search you will find a number of videos showing how people are installing the conversion kits and running their cars on water.

Because of the huge popularity of the water for gas method, I think there are some scam sites popping up. But the legitimate ones are still there, so be careful before you take out your credit card.

  16. If you really believe this then you hav en't thought it out The only way it would be possible is if water could be divided by electrolisis into hydrogen and oxygen and used in a engine as fuel and air.

  17. Not exactly. In gas, the carbon chains are reacted with oxygen, making a series of small explosions, powering the car. The new technology that is being developed is called a hydrogen fuel cell. You see, the power comes from the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen- another series of small explosions.

However, when hydrogen from the fuel cells and oxygen react, they form H20, or water. That's what you're thinking of. Water is a by-product of the reaction, but what the car is really powered by is hydrogen.
