Is it really worth it to buy membership for repo auctions? And....?

when you go to an auction, what are some tips on getting a good deal. How do you get a low bid on a car, ive never been to one and i wanna learn a bit bout bargaining before i go.

And i dont wanna hear the stuff i already know......get a carfax, start the engine, ect im strictly talking bout price.

  1. Yeah, they're pretty much worth the price and end up paying for themselves after you buy your first car. You can save money at an auction by bidding on the cars that hardly anybody else is bidding on because you will have less competition, which will keep the price down.

    Also, try not to be the first one to bid. You should stand in the background for a couple of minutes to see how many people are actually interested in buying the car. If the bidding is pretty hot, you can expect a bidding war that can drive the price way over what the car is actually worth... people tend to get emotional at auctions especially if they had their heart set on that particular car.
