  1. ONLY if your owner's manual REQUIRES 91 octane fuel.  If it specifies regular (87 octane) then 91 octane is a WASTE OF MONEY.  It won't help your engine run any better, cleaner or more efficiently.  And some engines designed for 87 octane can actually be harmed by 91 octane over time.

  2. depends... its better for the engine and can even prolong life of parts. but it is more expensive so it depends on how much your cars upkeep costs...

  3. Only if your vehicle requires it. Otherwise, there's no benefit.

  4. only if you have to most vehicles built now will run as good on regular as they will high test or 91 octane,if the owners manual says use it you can try a lower gas rating,if it acts up you can always switch it back,in most cases though all cars will run and perform fine without using it,good luck.

  5. Best to check your owners manual. If your engine doesn't specifically require a higher octane its not worth the extra expense.

  6. If you have a 4 or 6 cylinder engine I would say put the cheap stuff in it. I have a v8 and when I switch to 91 instead of the cheap stuff I gained an extra drive to and from work before I had to fill up.

  7. I say run your car on jet fuel.....at $11.00's a gallon why not!

  8. Only if the vehicle requires that octane. A higher compression engine is more efficient as a general rule, however the higher compression will cause severe engine damage if the correct octane is not used. Broken piston rings, broken ring grooves, holes burnt through pistons....nasty and expensive.

  9. no its all tha same just mixed in a different order

  10. Only if it's required to run your vehicle. Otherwise, save your nickels ...
