  1. Well it is a give and take kinda answer.  If is great for stopping blisters and sweat, but you loose feel so get some calluses, and go with feel and wipe you hands alot.

  2. Lots of answers aluding to blisters.  I think wearing a glove is a good idea not because of avoiding blisters but because the glove gives you a little better grip on the club, particularly if it's very warm out and your hand might be sweaty.     Most pros wear a glove with the notable exception of Fred Couples.  Couples doesn't wear a glove because he says that it reduces his 'feel' of the club.  I'd suggest that you try both ways and if you feel that you don't need a glove, then don't wear one.

  3. i play golf 4-5 times a week and i am 13, i wear a golf glove so i don't get blisters

  4. if you dont wear them you get blisters nd it hurts rlly bad lol

  5. Yes it is.

  6. I tried not wearing gloves, but it just feels funny, plus the grip feels slightly small to my left hand, but I don't want to get larger grip as it'd be too big for my right hand.  So I am stuck with glove.

As others have pointed out, it stops your hand from slipping, and help to absorb some vibrations from the club.

  7. You don't get blisters.

  8. Absolutely.

You avoid blisters (as mentioned above)

Many people find it comfortable (above as well)

If your hands sweat, you'll keep your grip better

It highlights your left hand (for righties) knuckle position. A lot of people use this as a valid part of grip alignment, aligning the knuckles of your left hand strong or weak can aid in working the ball without altering your swing.

Some people actually do wear gloves on both hands.

There are so many factors within the golf swing, being able to see even one of them as a non-worry is a big help, mentally and mechanically.

  9. I find it much more comfortable.

  10. It stops you from getting blisters.
