  1. No, tire cage is for 2 piece wheels not recapped tires.

  2. No. A tire cage is for split rims in case the rim lock flies off while the tire is being pressurized.

  3. Required by whom?

Although not be law in most locations,  it is still a good idea and often required by companies.    A tire coming apart or off the rim at pressures approaching 100 lbs do so with considerable force.    A tire cage can prevent injury to nearby persons.

  4. Yes it is required for the safety of the operator as well as for the people around.............................

  5. well do you not first put the tire on a rim before you inflate it??

It is always wise to use some sort of safety restraint when inflating a truck tire.

  6. it is always safer to use a cage it does not matter what kind of wheel it is because if it does blow out it can spin out in any direction because of the pressure.including upwards.just watch any garage when they inflate any kind of tyre they alway,s use their cage.
