Just curious, but would it would be in good practice for a company (software mind you), say their product (the software) is provided "As is", no damages caused by their product is their responsibility?

  1. Yea -- It is being upfront with you

  2. That's in almost every EULA, on almost all software.

  3. u mean no damages caused by their hands

when the product is sold "AS IS" its sold without anything else as u

see it in the picture or ad they have provided but may still have

damages from a different cause not that the company damage the

product and still tried selling it

  4. If a software company says that the product is "AS IS", don't buy it!

"AS IS" usually refers to vintage, antique or used items found on auction sites like eBay.

  5. may not be responsible of them, but if its a crappy product, its smart of them. then when your machine messes up, they already have their money and you cant dod anything about it...
