  1. depends on the situation. suppose she interrupted you to tell you the house is on fire, someone is hurt etc.

teaching never interrupt can be bad.

  2. No one should interrupt anyone. Children don't always interrupt intentionally though. It can be difficult for them to gauge the proper timing in conversations, and because their brains are still developing, they can be very impulsive.

It rarely has to do with lack of respect.

If she interrupts I'd simply calmly remind her that everyone needs to take turns, and when it's her turn to talk, she wouldn't want someone interrupting her so she shouldn't interrupt others.

Of course let it be known that if it's an emergency she should always interrupt.

  3. Maybe she wanted to say something relevant at that point..  a lot of adults interrupt each other in the middle when one is speaking.. it's not surprising if children pick up that habit..they learn from what they see grown ups do.. and a lot of grown ups don't let another finish..they have to give their opinion rigtht then... so a child always learns from adults.. it is up to the adults to be role models to the children...in every way.. and that from babyhood onwards..  to teach them the right values..

  4. Absolutely not.  At 10 years old she should be listening and then when you are done speaking then she can have her say.  She should not be interrupting your conversations at all.  If you don't stop it now the older it gets the worse it will get.  Good luck!!

    Peace & Love  :)

  5. Not untill you teach them and then they persist. Disrespect requires an intention and without  knowledge of it how can one be held responsible .
