  1. WOW!  Were these not insured?

  2. I am trying to have sympathy but it is past time to pick up the trash.

I and most of my neighbors had my house destroyed a few years ago by an F6 tornado that ripped through Moore Oklahoma.

We lost everything but we picked up, moved on and rebuilt.

Now Moore is one of the hippest palces to live in Oklahoma.

Maybe it is time for the Katrina people to move on.

  3. 1.  "littering" is not a felony.

    2.  Theoretically, the charge was available on the first day.  I think authorities have pretty darn lenient.

"Ironically, while Renardo is being fined for leaving the boats, others are using them as artwork. The boats were recently pictured on a poster for the annual Tarpon Springs Fine Arts Festival."

"Julie Ann Russell, a business owner near where the boats are anchored"

"Aesthetically it's not an eyesore; my customer's like it," Russell said.

"After the show, the merchants in the Historic Downtown and the

Sponge Docks will have special events to lure you into their amazing restaurants

to continue your experience of Tarpon Springs. This is a whole day and evening event. We have a great selection of hotels and Bed & Breakfasts if you want to really enjoy the City. Make this a Tarpon Springs weekend!

The Fine Arts Festival on the Bayou is presented by the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Major sponsors include St. Petersburg Times; bright house Networks, WSJT 94.1; Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union; Cabot Creamery of Vermont; J&B Truck Body, Inc.; Tech Options and Florida Capital Bank.

  5. 3 years!  It's been 3 years!

Three!  Are you honestly using for a defense "I've not had time" to fix it???   Seriously, 3 years!     Who's problem is it if it's not yours?  I'm sick of people using govt. as an excuse for their own inactivity.

Better hope it's not a jury trial, you'll be toast.

  6. Sounds fair to me.  I, too, am sick of the cry babies who use "Katrina" and "Rita" as excuses for their own laziness.  It is past time for the governemnt to stop throwing our money at "repairing the damage".
