  1. governments can, and have silenced citizens in many ways before and they will, continue to do so the rights and wrongs  of this ability counts for very little, The ordinary citizen such as myself, will have absolutely no effect with objections made to government though, -we know- it is diabolically wrong.

  2. In my earnest and humble opinion, any time that government silences its Citizens is a time that government is doing an injury to a number of those Citizens and will broach no discussion of the matter.

Further I say that any government that does so is acting the part of the Tyrant; thus being  unfit to rule, having lost the consent of the governed.  I say all of this knowing the excuses that the tyrants and dictators, since time out of time, have put forward as justification for their misrules -- War Necessity, Heresy and Disbelief in Authority in general, Public Morals being in decay, being the most cast about of this ignominious coven of lies, half-truths, deceptions, and other mischaracterizations of reality -- and I still say that there is absolutely no justification for silencing the words of any Citizen in a Free Republic.

Those actions are more fitting dictatorship or absolutist kingdom than is fit for great, noble, free and strong People such as Ours.

That is my say:  for what it is worth.

  3. No. Citizens have right to oppose War when not required in defence of own nation when unecessary. Sarcastic comments aside Human Supremacist Attitudes are all right to oppose any time. A Government which does serves it's people best when suicidalGreed opposed. Had any WW1 Goverments searched for alternitive power it would not have been fought for oil.Had  there been a body similiar to The League Of Nations but like an effective U.N. in scope WW1 might have been avoided if Human Supremacist Attitudes rejected. All through history oppertunities have been lost.

  9. How odd that you all assumed that your "rights" were being violated and that ANY attempt to stifle your speech would be illegal.

In a declared war, all people play a role in waging the war.  Your mouth is an effective weapon that can kill people by the thousands.  You do not have a right to use it indiscriminately.  If you do, you are an enemy fo the state and can be punished.

Even today, you cannot put others at risk by what you say.
