  1. yeah but he didn't get passed the 4th one

  2. How did he get to compete if he didn't pass the drug tests? And why is it relevant that he was black, I should think anyone who cheated, regardless of colour should be excluded from the competition.

  3. Your question implies that Christine is less British for being black. It is true that during her ban that she contemplated competing for her (ethnic) mother country Nigeria. Despite winning  the world championship last year she polled very few votes in the sports personality of the year competition, however I feel that is more to do with the fact that she is ugly rather than black or a cheat.

Hopefully she will poll more votes.

Ultimately the question says more about the ask-er than the athlete. Shame on you for your shallow and bigoted question.

  4. I don't know. .... If he had been a WHITE man who missed 3 drug tests, would you feel any better about it?

  5. Asker is talking about Christine Ohuruogu  from Great Britain who won the women's 400m on the track (i bet some people thought Jamaican). Anyway if the powers to be are satisfied that her ban deserved to be overturned and she deserves to be competing then i do not see why we should be judging

  6. Not sure what the "black" has to do with anything, but it does seems a bit hypocritical after the Dwain Chambers fiasco.

  7. "black gold"? Do you mean oil? Texas Tea?

  8. Yep!

  9. Who are you talking about?

I thought the dope tests were compulsory and therefore an athlete would not be able to compete having not taken them.

  10. Race doesn't even come into it, and it's really pathetic that you would even mention it.

I can see why missing three drug tests would raise a lot of speculation, but the British Olympic association overturned a lifetime ban due to "significant mitigating circumstances".

There was obviously good reasons why she missed the tests. If there wasn't, she wouldn't have been given the opportunity to compete in Beijing.

    Congrats Christine Ohuruogu!

  11. the difference is Christine Ohuruogu missed 3 drugs tests and said it was because she forgot things easily, she served a ban and because nothing was proved she was allowed to compete again.

Dwaine Chambers took drugs tests and got caught using steroids, that is the difference between the 2, Ohuruogu never actually got caught using them which is why they allowed her back, i dont see what being black has anything to do with it though thats a really immature thing to put in there.

  12. So what if that person was black?

A black person who is british is not any less british than a white british person.

Plus, I don't know if you can miss drug tests. The olympics wouldn't allow someone who missed a drug test to compete!

Btw if you are talking about Christine Ohuruogu, which you almost defetely are, yes she missed some tests but she served the ban and never actually got proved to be using drugs!
