ok. . . i babysat my nephews (4 boys very HYPER boys at that) for three weeks. the first two weeks they didnt pay me... she said it was because she just started her job. . so i just let it go. but the third week came and the beginning of the week i told my brother he needs to pay me because i have to have gas for my car so i can go back and forth to their house and pick the boys up from school and take themhome. he said he would but then friday came and she called right before it was time for me to go over there and said that she had quite her job. they DIDNT pay me! i was so mad they just bascally used me. now they have the nerve to ask me to start back watching them again starting tuesday. should i start watching them again? would you? how would you handle it? i hate confrontation. my brothers wife is a b*tch and i know she will be quick to catch an attitude with me. so what should i do?? what do i tell them if i dont want to anymore? i just startedcollege also so...i kinda need the money, ive been having a hard time finding a job. but i refuse to continue to let them use me. so any advise on to what to do? thanks

  1. Tell your brother that you would be happy to babysit once they have paid what they owe and that with college and all you need to be paid in advance. If they aren't keen on that then they can enroll them in a daycare. It's hard not to want to help your family but just because they are family it does not give them the right to take advantage of you. Good luck hon.

  2. Tell your brother that since you just started college that you cannot afford to babysit for free. and if that doesnt work tell them that you have to focus on studying.

  3. Tell your brother you will baby sit for them as soon as you are paid and then get your money up front before you sit again.so basically have them pay you in advance
