  1. what do you suggest as an alternative - jackboots , tanks , american nuclear missiles

  2. Why not? Why do you feel threatened and frightened at the thought? Something repressed, perhaps?

  3. 'They' ???

    Homophobic much?

  4. they can do as they please, just don't expect

me to support them, and i cant be arsed

    marching anywhere.

  5. of course it is..............as far as i know Scotland is still part of our democracy.

  6. Anyone can march in this country. If you want a march for 'straight' people, then why not organise one? By the way, I expect that 'straight' people take part in 'that' march, and in similar marches wherever they take place.

Simple question: Are you homophobic? The reason for asking is because that is how you have portrayed yourself.

  7. I'm not quite sure what they are marching for and can't see the point of it.  Same goes for any march including the Orange and Hibernian Orders.

My only criticism is that all marches block roads, snarl up traffic and leave a mess behind.

Still, it's a free country - just hope they're paying for the police resources needed for any large gathering not to mention the cleaning up afterwards.  Or is it the poor taxpayer as usual?

  8. It's right that they, or the British Legion, or the Women's Institute, or the Scottish TUC, should have the right to march in celebration of who they are and what they believe in.

It would not be right for homophobes, racists or other purveyors of hatred to march anywhere other than into the dustbin of history.  Please make your sad little way there now.

  9. It all just looks like a bit of fun to me, I don't suppose anyone would mind if 'straights' joined in with these marches.  Live and let live mate, there's enough **** going on in this world without looking for more.

  10. This is a free country, with the right to free speech & the right to march  & hold peaceful gatherings.

What gives you the right, apart from slight homophobia, to deny them to do what they have a legal right to?

Methinks, we have uncovered a fear here. What, I wonder, are you afraid of exactly?

  11. What should us straights have a march about.........?

  12. and in what way are ''they'' hurting you?

    edit

bet i get it more often than you do

last August bank holiday weekend Manchester city centre was utilised for ''their'' annual g*y pride festival.

traffic was snarled up, diversions etc for ''their'' carnival

well, ''they'' pay their taxes just like the rest of us and if ''they'' want to organise a celebration of their lifestyle why not?

there was very little trouble, and the only reported arrests were for homophobic attacks

so , if you wish to organise a march for heterosexual males you go right ahead, but like scotch mist, i won't be arsed either

    edit

    rant?

merely expressing my views, live and let live, put it another way, turn the other cheek

  13. Yes if they want to and if it offends don't watch.

Yes if you want to by all means, feel free.
