  3. I DON'T KNOW I AM NOT A FEMALE LOL

  4. No, it's fine.

The blood is just all backed up, that's all.

just change the pad every hour or get thicker pads.

    && CONGRADS!

    GOOD LUCK!

  5. it takes several months for our bodies to get back into regular habits..be sure you are eating foods that give you iron..or just use over the counter iron pills..perhaps every other day..they will make you have bath room problems

  6. i just did the 9 day heavy thing after a misc so yeah it is normal and ok

  7. something wrong, have yourself checked please. The explanation given shows abnormal behavior. It is normally heavy but not that heavy as you have mentioned.

  8. It is normal right after birth, and the next period can vary in flow but if you feel personally, it is abnormally heavy yes you should see your OB.. Whenever you are in doubt call it is better safe then sorry..

  9. I guess your period is just coming normal again this way.  Don`t worry it`s normal that the hormones act like this after pregnancy.

    Anyway visit your gynaecologist!

  10. Well I'm only 17, but i just took a parenting course and my teacher never mentioned anything about having heavy periods after the intial one after birth. But theres nothing wrong with calling up your doctor and makin an appointment. Isnt that what they're there for?

  11. yes, after you have a baby you can get a lot of period.

  12. well.... i think you should get it checked out ,

i think it depends on the person tho , some ppl have their period after birth and some dont ,

  13. Hi, i have has two children and can say it does vary.  But, that does sound heavy.  Personally i would have gone to the doctors days ago.  Wouldn't do any harm if they say it's normal. You could possibly be anemic through losing so much blood.  I would advise you to call NHS direct for some advise this evening the number is 0845 4647, it looks as though some numbers are missing but there not. You could always call the maternity unit at the hospital, they will tell you what to do.  Or emergency doctor / A + E if it get s worse.  I hope you get the advise you need. Please let me know how you get on.

  14. i don't remember THAT much bleeding.. but you go for your postpartum checkup at 6 weeks right? talk to the doctor.

  15. That doesn't sound right. If I were you, I'd go ahead and call my doctor. He may tell you it's fine but 9 days of bleeding that heavy doesn't sound right. Congrats on your new baby. :)

  16. Obviously.. you havent had your period for 9 months, what did you expect?

  17. After I had my first child I started having heavier periods & I started having cramps too.  I think you could probably wait until Monday & see your Dr. then but if you know how to contact him to ask I would do that.  If you are really worried then get it checked out now.  You just have to go with your gut.  Nine days is a long time if it has been heavy the whole time.  I don't think a day & a half would hurt though to wait & maybe by then you will have stopped or slowed down?  You could also call a clinic that is open & ask if you should see a Dr.  Good luck

  18. Get it checked out.   I don't mean to freak you out but this happened to me and it turned out that a small part of the placenta had been left in my uterus.  I didn't have it checked out and it caused horrendous problems including massive blood loss and pnuemonia from the anemia.  Be safe, get it checked out.
