  1. sometimes you can't get to the phone on time, so I don't think it's rude

  2. I prefer to communicate via email rather than phone.  i think people understand that everybody is too busy nowadays.

  3. At least you're returning their call. Rude would be leaving them wondering if you even received the message.

  4. I think it's strange...just call, no one is going to hurt you.  That person could have texted you if that's what he wanted to do...texting takes longer and it's annoying.

  5. I think that as long as you acknowledge the call and return it somehow, either thru a return call or a text message, that is what is important. I hate when I call or text my friends, and i don't ever receive anything back. So as long as you let them know you got their call, I think you are ok.

  6. i do that and its been done to me, sometimes one of my friends that i dont feel like speaking to will call me and ill text like 15 mins later and say "hey i saw u called sorry i was doin my hair, what's up" and she won't even think anything of it, she'll just text me with whatever she wanted to say to me and my friends do it to me too sometimes and i think nothing of it.

  7. No.

  8. I've done the same thing. I don't think it's rude.

  9. Texting or calling both is fine, it isn't rude. I do that sometimes too.

  10. It depends. If they called you with something simple like what time you were going to meet them at the Starbucks or whatever that only requires a simple answer, then yes, texting is fine. If they asked you a personal question or if they asked your opinion of something that requires a bit more detail, you should probably call them or they'll probably be both a little annoyed and wonder why you don't want to talk to them.

    Hope I helped!

  11. nah, I do it all the time.  If it's important, they'll call back.  If they think it's odd, they'll say so.

  12. it would be fine. also depends the person who called you. i do that all the time cus i dont like phone conversations either:)
