  1. I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and found out the s*x of the baby, but my husband wanted me to have another one just to double check before we started going mad on pink! I just asked my doc if i could have another u/s to confirm the results and he was fine with that. So i had another one at 24 weeks and it was confirmed (also got some great pics).

  2. No, you cannot.

    Ultrasounds are for medical reasons.

    You can't get one just because you want one.

    You have to find a 4D imaging place.

    Google 4D ultrasound location, and you'll find a place in your state.

    You'll have to pay around $150.

  3. Doesn't hurt to ask.  But I don't think so.

    Good luck and congrats!

  4. ok so nobody knows me here so i am gonna spit it out . during my first pregnancy , everyhing was fine with the first pregnancy but i had 4 ultrasounds. my doctor was very understanding about me wanting to see my baby . quite frankly i amnot sure what he told my insurance company but they covered all of it . some doctors are good about it , some are not . it will never hurt to ask but if i were you i would wait a little more to do this . once during those 4 times  i lied to them that i was feeling pain in my pelvic and they gave me one to check things.i know what you might think but i just wanted to see my baby again .

  5. It's not rude to ask, heck, I'd ask for one every time If I knew the answer would be yes!

    But realistically, he probably won't do another one.

    You could trying going to a 3d/4D Ultrasound place, they do them without referrals, you just need to pay the extra, as it's most likely not covered.

  6. You can get an ultrasound, but you'll have to pay for it.  A better route would be to take the video and have a still shot made from it.  Look at the yellow pages for places near you that'll to that. Did the Doc give you a DVD or a VHS.  A DVD you can do yourself.  A VHS you may need someone else.

  7. Since you already had one not long ago they probably won't. But there is no harm in asking.

  8. It can't hurt to ask. Some doctors are really nice and will make up an excuse to get you in if you really want it. But maybe not so soon after you just had one. But if you really want one and your doctor won't make up an excuse, depending on the policies of your doctor's office, you may be able to get another one, but your insurance won't cover it.

    Congratulations =]
