Is it rude to interrupt people in France?

I have a tendency to interrupt people on the phone. Recently I've been calling Louis Vuitton to report counterfeits, but I always interrupt them, accidentily.

Is this considered rude?

  1. its rude to interrupt anybody at anytime, no atter the place, or person.


  2. It's rude to interrupt someone regardless of nationality.

  3. I would think it's always considered rude to interrupt people no matter where you are or where you're from.

  4. Interrupting people should only happen if it is a pressing matter or an emergency.  In addition, you should apologize before the interruption and then thank them for their patience afterwards.  

    If you are interrupting for trivial reasons and not excusing your self, then yes that is rude.  But if you must make an important point and you show everyone the proper respect, then carry on.

    You should keep in mind that it you have two ears and one mouth.  Theirfore it will profit you to listen twice as much as you speek.  St. Francis of Assissi said you should seek to understand rather than be understood.
