  1. No it's not rude. I don't eat food from everybody, especially if they give it to me from their hands. You don't know where their hands have been.. Secondly, you don't have to eat it if you don't want it. Just say "No thanks".

  2. Absolutely not rude.  However, it would be polite to praise the food given to you; and be sure to be honest about any allergic reactions to foods and/or digestive problems you have as to food with the host/hostess, etc.

  3. If you're at someone's house and they offer you a plate of food, you should at lets eat a little bit of it.

If you really cant stand it, I guess you can just leave it there.

  4. No, not in my culture at least.

If you outright refuse to eat with no explanation, that might offend the chef. Other than that, I think your okay.

  5. If a food is given to you by a host/hostess, it is a must to at least try it.  If you can't stand it, you don't have to finish it, and a polite host/hostess will not comment on your not finishing it.

  6. No, cause maybe your not hungry right then.

  7. ???

Some sort of context would have been helpful.

If you're at someone's house for dinner, yes; if someone has just given you extra tomatoes from their garden, no.
