My dads uncle just died a few days ago, his calling hours are tomorrow and his funeral is Saturday. Would it be rude to not go to the calling hours? But, we will be going to the funeral.

  1. Not necessarily. If you not going is going to cause more pain for your dad then maybe you should go, especially if he has asked you to attend. If he does not really care then it's entirely up to you. Since you seem to have a small child (your avatar) I would think that it would be fine to skip the calling, especially since you are indeed going to attend the funeral. My condolences for the loss of your family member.

  2. Ohh..not a problem at alll its not rude.

    sorry for your loss too.

Oh and i know this is a little off subject. but ur pic is so cute of your baby!

  3. It would be nice for your dad if you showed up. Even just to check up on him. You don't have to bring your whole family, you can go alone. I'm sure it would mean the world to him to have you there, even for a short time.

  4. not rude at all, lots of people dont go to that. most actually

  5. why wouldnt you just go? or atleast stop by? its kinda rude. its family. unless you really ahve to be somewhere i think they'd understand.
