Is it rude to take of your shoes in someones car

Like if you are in your friends car and have been walking all day, is it rude to take of your shoes in their car?

I know I don't like when people do that.  In fact, I'm going on a road trip tomorrow, and I KNOW my friend is going to take off her shoes.  The really bad thing is her feet smell horrible!  So bad that I actually have avoided this trip until now.

depends man, we all know how it gets, you can tell if you have some nasty smelling feet before you take your shoes off, I know you can.  So ask yourself, do my feet smell bad enough to p**s some one off, or should I let them breathe before they reach that point, the balls really in your court if you wanna take your shoes off, but dont smell up some ones car, thats not cool

yes.  If you have been walking all day, your feet may smell.

I wouldn't do it unless i was on a big trip some where but i would do it if i was really close to the person whose car i was getting into so really you have think about the situation yourself.

is it your car? then who cares? if it's a friend's car, ask. I do it all the time.
