My husband is very hairly, and he has hairs on his back too.

So he always refuses to get in a pool, but my daughter wants to play in a pool with her daddy.

Is it rude to wear T-shirt in a pool?

Or he should not be embarrassed?

  1. I dont see how its rude i wear a t shirt in the pool it would be rude if he was nude

  2. It's not rude at all.

  3. Nope perfectly normal. Lots of people do it!

  4. Not at all. I have my son wear one sometimes because he gets sunburned easily. He has a couple white ones just for the pool. The chlorine keeps them white too. But your husband definitely shouldn't be embarrassed. If he looks around at the pool I'm sure he'll realize that most people don't look perfect; especially in swimsuits! I always focused on the perfect people and felt awful. Decided to stop that, and now I'm more impressed with the people who are just comfortable with themselves. Not that I'm there yet--maybe someday though.

  5. I have never thought twice about someone wearing a t-shirt in a pool.  Actually, I wish more people would!

  6. no its not rude. but if u have a feeling that it might be then he can get his back shaved.

  7. Why would it be rude? That's stupid. That's not "rude".. If you want to wear a shirt then do it.

  8. A lot of people do it, it's not rude or not allowed.

  9. no it isn't rude

  10. Not necessarily rude, but off-putting to others. People will assume that the tee-shirt is not clean--that he had it on long before he got in the pool.  There is a certain ick factor behind it....

If your husband is that hairy, he should get manscaped (waxed).

  11. No, it is not. My cousin wears shirts in the pool because he feels uncomfortable not having a shirt on. But trust me--this kid that used to be in my class jumped in the pool with jeans. I think that's rude.

  12. You can wear a t-shirt in the pool as long as it isn't frayed and falling apart.  (Don't want loose threads clogging up the pool filter.)

  13. no it's not rude. Everybody has the right to get in the water, and if some people feel uncomfortable shirtless, they can do what makes them feel comfortable :)

  14. Not rude at all! Many men and women where shirts in pools for various reaons of uncomfort with their bodies.

But a waxing is always nice for a guy if he's that concerned.

  15. he shouldn't be embarrassed

but if he feels more comfortable with a shirt on then let him!

  16. no it's not rude because I don't like wearing a bikini or swim wear so all I do is wear a shirt and shorts

  17. I always wear a Tshirt in a pool and I know lots of people who do
