There is a place where I live called the neighbourhood centre and women go there to put their kids in creche while they do their craft projects, or read or talk or whatever. Anyway, I go there to read my uni books and study. I am getting sick of reading the same words over and over again because I can't concentrate because the other women are so loud. I'm not a cow, I just have very limited time without my daughter and need to make the most of it. I am wondering if wearing ear muffs when I am sitting at the big table with these ladies will give a bad impression. I don't want them to feel I don't like them or anything

  1. Use inconspicuous ear plugs!

  2. i think thats a great idea go the ear muffs and just tell the women you really have to study

  3. You cannot go into an environment with mother and toddlers and expect them to be quiet so that yiu can have some me time - its selfish, and rude. You are the one being unreasonable, not them.

If it bothers you that much, sit in your car.  Also, I don't understand why you would stay at the creche with your daughter if your not to spending time with her.

Anyway if you want to study why not drop her off then go to the library then that way the other mothers don't have to listen to your paper shuffling and huffing & puffing, and everyone's a winner.

  4. if they ask tell them it's the new style

  5. You are beyond rude to the other mothers, I find your actions offensive to your own kids!
