  1. I believe so, that and they were probably talking about you but its difficult to say what about however watch them and see if their attitude towards you has changed in any way.

  2. no.  I do it all the time.  sometimes what I'm talking about is private and just between me and the other person in the room and don't want to discuss it with others in the room.  Doesn't matter who it is.  They could be discussing you or maybe not.

  3. It would depend on if thier talk is totally private, about themselves or whatever.

If they are talking about you, your family, someone you know real well, etc. then thay stop when you walk in & continue when you leave, then that is rude. Talking about others behind thier backs is rude. People running others down ...rude.

They always wait until you're not around.

  4. no, maybe they were talking about a personal matter that could not be discussed in front of other people.

  5. No....especially if you are a gossip.

  6. wow.  Do you have any idea what prompts this behavior?

  7. Of course it is RUDE. and gross me out. people should be smart and have a plan B when there is a gossip going on. the plan should be to start talking about  a different  theam in case "the person who they are talking about, surprisingly shows. this way they don't have to rudly stop the gossip in front of the person..ha!

  8. Yes, unless you are their boss or something.

If not, they are trying to send you a message.
