A little honey would not hurt but forget the lemon. Sugar substances of any kind are not generally recommended for dogs and is actually bad for them so it is probably better to forget the honey also.

u must understand that dogs r way different than humans. a little chocolate can literally poison the dog, i know honey is not a chocolate, but u must be very careful and ask vet ar read a book about this kind of questions.

hunny can raise the blood sugar in a puppy or a dog..i use huney or kirro syup within 24 hrs of flying a puppy as it will help them from having a diabetic sieure..so if he just ate it and all, his blood surgar will rise and can cause him to have a diabetic siezer if ate to much..a little wont hut the dog, depends on size and weight as well...if you use it as a mixture of a milk supliment then the sugar will be redused from the wtaer(Puppy formula supliment--Home made milk)

I woulnd recomend just feeding hunny to a dog...

as to the lemon..well my dogs eat fruits all the time and it doesnt hurt them at all...i am surprised that your dog actually injoyed eating a lemon but no it wont hurt the dog, might give him an upset tummy if ate to much citrus acid(that is what lemons have in it)

edit----i just read the answer above mine, huney and lemons will not help a sore throat in dogs as it does for us humans...you need to see a vet with that as it can be a number of things..

Why would you give a dog honey and lemon?  Just because it's good for people, it's not necessarily good for dogs.

If your dog ingested some by accident, they may vomit or have diarrhea, but they should be fine.

ADD: I just read your other question saying your dog has a sore throat. This is a new one. If your dog is coughing, take him to the vet.  Don't medicate him yourself, especially if you think honey and lemon will heal him.
