Is it safe for a foreigner to work in Jordan? how is the people and their culture?

Yes for sure! Jordan is very safe. The people and culture are Arabic, however when I was there I saw other foreigners. The main religion is Muslim although there are Christians as well.

yes of course Jordan is safe, people are well educated and open minded, you'll love it, services, education and medical sectors are excellent, life is expensive since the fuel is ~1$/L.
