Is it safe for a minor to read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks?

Does the book have any adult contents?

It has a couple of s*x scenes, but I'm pretty sure they weren't too graphic. If you're uncomfortable with it, wait a little longer. =)

If you're very sensitive about the topic, then I would suggest not reading it. But, there's only one or two mature scenes in the book. My cousin was 12 when she read the book and it has become her favorite. So, yeah its safe unless you're "sensitive" about the topic.

To the best of my memory it doesn't have anything adult or offensive. I let my 14 year old daughter read all of his books. If you are worried I would suggest reading it yourself then determine if you feel it fit for your child. That is what I do. Hope it helps.

  Well, I read it when I was pretty young (in the fourth grade), but there is only like 1 s*x scene, so I would say sure.
