Question:

Is it safe for birds to drink out of a bird bath filled with water from the garden hose?

I was just wondering if tap water is hazardous to them...and if hose water is even considered tap water.

  3. the water in your garden hose comes from the same source as all the other water in your house. if you're hooked up to a water tank, then yes it is safe for the birds to drink it. if you have a well, then they should still be able to drink it as long as its safe for you to drink too.

  4. NO.  They will slowly die and carry it to all other birds, making the entire bird society die and sieze to exist..

Your are a funny person friend.  Birds bees and animals of all kind drink water from where they can get.  Their stomaches are accostomed.  Just don't give em any mineral water, it might make their stomachs soft, and they might not THEN be able to adjust to rain water, pond water, lake water, river water or mud water!

  6. think about it. They drink out of water that other birds have pooped in.
