Is it safe for guinea pigs to eat the grass out of my yard?

There has been no fertilizer or anything put on it, There is a willow tree back there I don't know if that would give off chemicals or anything. But they really love their hay and I was wondering if it would be safe for them to eat the grass, I have 2 babies that are 3 days old and I really don't want them to get sick (we lost one at birth :( ) I only want to give it to them as a treat or something. Not ues it as an everyday thing.

  1. Yep its safe since there isn't pesticides or fertilizers or anything. I have fed my piggie grass for a while now and I have not come accross any problems. If you start noticing anything wrong though, stop feeding immediately. If you are really concerned then you could try rinsing off the grass after picking before feeding. If your letting your guinea pig roam around in grass, beware of fleas!

    ^^

    hope this helps
