  1. Hello. I used to live in Acapulco, but I moved to Mexico city to study University, and I come here every vacations.

Yes, it's safe, there're lots of places to visit like clubs, restaurants, beaches, malls, etc.

IT also depends on where is she staying. But in general is safe.

  2. Are you crazy? You've raised a beautiful daughter & you're ready to sacrifice her to Mexico? They have no laws, or reasonable justice system.

  3. Drunken loose Natalie "God bless and rest her soul"

    I live in Acapulco.

    I can not believe this.

First of all what does anything that happened in Aruba have to do with Acapulco?

Keep thinking of Columbine, Virginia Tech, and others too numerous to mention.

There have been 40,000 murders in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN THE LAST TWO YEARS AND OVER TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND MURDERS IN THE LAST TEN.

THERE IS A CRIME COMMITTED IN THE 20 SECONDS.

iS IT SAFE TO GO TO AMERICA/?

SECONDLY YOU CAN NOT SEND YOUR KID TO ACAPULCO .

    WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING?

DID YOU FORGET TO TAKE YOUR MEDICATION TODAY?

  4. Well, I've been there multiple times and I have never felt unsafe there. But I didn't go around looking for trouble. And I always went somewhere with an adult or good friend present. So I simply love Mexico and think that it is a beautiful and lovely place. And I adore Acapulco, but do I think that it is safe to send your kid there? Um.................no, I don't think it is safe USUALLY. I mean, if she has a chaperone with her than I'm sure that she would be safe if it is a TRUSTWORTHY AND RESPONSIBLE one. I mean, they do have chaperones on school trips. But for her to go ALONE and unsupervised,  well thats just asking for trouble. If she's looking for trouble, then she'll find it there, but honestly she'll find it anywhere you send her. Overall, this is a decision that you need to make, and as you can see, a lot of the time the people on here aren't always helpful on situations like this. Everyone raises their kids differently and has different morals. So it really just depends on you. So basically with a GOOD dependable chaperone yes, without one..................no way!

  5. It all depends on the kid. Some have no brains. Keep in mind, the big attraction for spring break now days, weather in Mexico, Aruba, Florida, or Palm Springs is BOOZE. Look at the websites for the spring break company's. Many promote the "Party" atmosphere with all you can drink wrist bands. If your kid is level headed, they will be OK. If not, don't let them go anywhere. Not Mexico, not the U.S.

  6. ANY PLACE IN THE WORLD HAS DANGEROUS ZONES, IF YOUR KID GOES WILD, DRINKS ETC, SHELL GET TROUBLE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, AND WHY WORRY, WHAT ABOUT ALL THE SCHOOL SHOOTING IN OUR SCHOOLS, OUR KIDS ARE SEFER, JUST ADVE NOT TO GO TO THE BACK SREETS AND KEEP WITH THE GROUP, THE GIRL IN ARUBA, I SAY SHE ASKED FOR IT, SHE WAS LAST SEEN AT 3 AM,JUST REMEMBER IN ACAPULCO DRINKING AGE IS 18.

  7. the city has been known to be a drug route and i have seen on the news gunfights that occur on the outskirst of the city. its probably safe if your child stays in the hotel zone its very nice theres starbucks!
