Is it safe to add chicken broth to chicken noodle soup?

The soup that I am cooking, from a can, is not enough to feed my family. I was wondering if it would be safe to add plain Chicken Broth to the soup?

Yeah just watch the salt. Go for a non sodium broth.

Yes thats fine. Or you could even add water if you want to cut out some of the salt content.
