Is it safe to bring a harmless shoe fetish into public?

I have a fetish for a particular leather shoe. Whether it be on or off my foot, i seem to have a passion for them.. Would it be weird to go into hooters with said shoes on and try and get my waitress to notice them on me by talking about them in some way?

I would think that she might find it odd, yes...

I suppose, if it wouldn't affect you negatively, you could ask her for her 'womanly opinion' on the shoe. That could be your conversation starter.

However, you would probably get looked at very oddly if you happened to be wearing a patent leather pump. You said particular leather shoe...if you're a man wearing a woman's shoe, you're probably going to get some weird looks.

I think it would be ok.  just ask her what she thinks of your shoes.  you could say something like "I just love these shoes!  What do you think of them?"  Good luck!

I don't think that any waitperson is going to have any interest in what you wear.  They are there to earn money.  They do this by providing good service and being pleasant. ( yes that includes flirting )

There is nothing wrong with loving a pair of shoes.  You could tell any friend, male or female that you love these shoes, and ask them if they own anything that they love.  however, don't bring up the shoes too often.
