  1. It's safe but for sure, you may buy water filters. I sometimes use tap water whenever I'm brushing my teeth. =)

  2. Darling...this is the Philippines. Even if its a 3rd world country, the Philippines is more than modern to not think of chlorine.

Tap water isnt just safe for brushing your teeth. Its also good for drinking.

  3. If it is not safe, then  majority of the people  there would have been dead by now.

FYI, the tap water in the Philippines are chlorinated  so it  safe for washing, bathing and  general cleansing.  People even used it  for   drinking and cooking.  However if you  don't feel comfortable drinking  water from the pipe,   there's  plenty of bottle water for  sale.

  4. I guess that all depends on where you live. I live in Tagaytay, and use tap water for brushing teeth.

  5. Yes , if you dont swallow its safe anywhere...

  6. are you crazy?! of course it is safe!

  7. maybe,i have full denture

    and i don't brush it,save a lot on toothpaste,toothbrush,water,mouthwash and effort.

  8. umm yes i did while i was there and im still alive arent i =D

  9. of course.

just bkz it is a developing country, it dsnt mean it's dirty.

  10. Actnow is right, water in the Philippines maybe chlorinated but there maybe other minerals present that your system is not used to, so it would be better to drink bottled water, brushing is fine, as long as you don't drink it.

  11. But of course!

Tap water is not purified, yes. But it's not like you're going to drink the water after you gargle it, right? Lol!

Yeah, it's safe. Otherwise, I'd be dead by now for those 15 years of using tap water for brushing my teeth.

  12. yes it is.   when brushing or gargling, you don't drink the water so no need for purification tablets.   water from tap is fine.

  13. yes

  14. Brushing teeth is okay.  Drinking from the tap may not.  No, not because it is polluted or anything... I travel a lot - everywhere.  First rule of travel, try not to drink water from the tap unless you absolutely have to.  Your system may not be used to the water composition in that area and would need time to adjust - time better spent having fun instead of curling up with a belly ache.

  15. if its not..everyone i know including me would have been dead ages ago

  16. Yes. Just don't drink it!

  17. it's ok
