Is it safe to buy international plane tickets on-line?

i plan to buy plane tickets from manila to san francisco on-line. Travelocity, expedia or something. Is it safe? If I am buying it from the U.S., how will they get the ticket in Manila?

Yes its safe! All these well-known sites are. But always be careful...

They mostly don't send you a ticket, you'll just recieve a confirmation number when you complete your purchase.

You may be posted out a ticket, it depends on the airline you chose to fly with.

Yes, it is safe. I have traveled twice from US to Manila (round trip tickets and transiting in Tokyo and Taipei) buying tickets from orbitz website. each time I had three stops, changed planes each stop and changed airlines twice and did not have any problem. Just make sure to print out your confirmation number and itinerary and take it with you everywhere during flights. Also, pick an itinerary with enough time between plane changes and do your research on each airport.

yes it's safe as long as you key in your card number safely (u know what i mean) and in most cases it's also cheaper to book online.

u just have to print the itenerary and this'l serve as your tix

I use Travelocity and get E-Tickets when I travel from Manila to the US. No hidden charges or surprise taxes at the airport when I use Travelocity.
