Is it safe to buy merchandise from outside the US on Ebay?

My sister loves Hello Kitty, and I want to buy her a few items. At the regular store in the US it can be expensive, but it is very cheap in China and the UK. Is it safe to buy from these countries on Ebay?

You run the risk of getting scammed no matter where the item is. No matter if it's 100 miles away, or if it's in the other side of the world in China. ALWAYS bid with caution, no matter the location of the item.

yes it is safe

i buy things from ebay in the US all the time and I live in Australia

so my advive 2 u is be careful and make sure that what u r getting is the real deal and not fakes, caus if there fakes ur up the creek
