Is it safe to buy pioneer dvd headunit refurbished by pioneer

Its a pioneer avh p500 and i think the model just came out this year so it cant be used all that much, and plus it is basically half the retail price.

why wouldnt it be?   they know what there doing.. besides if they give you warranty go for it

I'm with that first guy, they know what they're doing, and they shouldn't sell something they know isn't good, and yeah, if they give you a warranty, then go for it!
