Is it safe to cut a One A Day Womens pill in half and then swallow it?

Those things are just ginormous! I heard that some pills have a slow reactor outside so that it dissolves slowly and that you shouldn't cut those up. But are one a day womens safe to cut up? There's no liquid in them

I would say that you are safe in breaking it in half

Pills are Enteric coated or sustained release are the ones that should not be broken or crushed. Most vitamins are neither of these but the bottle you are taking them from should tell you whether it is and should provide directions on how to take the pills.

I checked out the following link http://www.oneaday.com/womens.html and all I can tell from it is that you should take it with food. Usually food prevents you from getting an upset stomach.

If you are still unsure, even after this thread, I suggest asking any Pharmacist, be sure to tell them the exact brand.

I'm sure it'll be fine. It's just a multivitamin so cutting it in half shouldn't harm you.
