I have always been really cautious about chicken due the obvious salmonella, however for my dinner today i was meant to take out some chicken thighs from the freezer and thaw them out in my fridge, it will be to late now so do you think it will be safe to thaw them out in the mircowave, i know that once they cook it should kill off any bacteria but i was always told not to defrost chicken in a microwwave yet there is a poulty setting on it so surely it should be ok.
