Is it safe to delete system32\~.exe?

ive been having computer problems (trojans/adware) and i ran VundoFix, and it found C:\\Windows\system32\~.exe

should i go ahead and delete it? or is it a nessecary system file

  1. only if you want to use your computer because it needs system32 to operate


  2. Yes. You can safely delete the file.

    The name of the file suggest that it is not a valid system file.

    I don't have such a file in my system32 folder.

  3. you google the name of the concerned file if you are not sure you post the name of the file here and people will give you their opinion

    but this doesnt look like a good  file to me the name is weird more investigation is required

  4. delete it, and you won't be able to use ur PC again
